HI there,
No, LS6 has no air bleed.
If you would like to fill the engine faster and with less problems, simply remove the coolant hose from the throttle body.

Yeah it is pretty simple... I disconected the TB hose, when it flowed coolant it was time to re-connect. I changed my coolant, thermostat and hoses when I got my car. I used distilled water to mix the coolant too.

Now go play with your tools!

1998 6-speed Coupe. Z06 exhaust, Z06 sway bars, C6 Z06 Shifter, LS6 Intake Manifold, K&N FIPK, Vararam Velocity Stack, stainless steel brake lines, Borla X pipe, Z06 shocks. SAE Dyno Numbers 330 RWHP/340 RWTQ

HI c4c5 specialist,
I was thinking you could also use the surge cap to speed up the draining of the coolant.I just cracked mine open until air pressure pushed out the coolant quicker. In between flushes I replaced the inlet housing as it was convenient to do so. I bought the housing & thermostat as one assembly. Bought from gm dealer $33. wholesale. (would you believe made in brazil?) You can,t just replace just the thermostat but you probably know that. This vette had all the original fluids from the factory with 12,000 miles. a/c condenser were clean & also the radiator. I,am in the process of changing the clutch fluid using a turkey baster.(As I don,t want too remove part of the left side exhaust.) Using the p/n 88958860 per your recommmendation. Any advice or comments?I used this method & I didn,t see any air bubbles in the surge tank after job completion. ops ck. ok Performed this on my 01 stock vette. Temps are 187f to190f on a 84f day. Idle is 200 to 225 on a 84 degree day. Thanks for your advice. How did you like the gm nationals?I would like to meet you at corvettes at carlisle. What tent number will you be at? I was born & grew up 50 miles east of carlisle.I,ll be there on aug 24th. Have a happy 4th of july ROBSC5
